| The Bolton Mansion After a very long and grueling road trip that seemed like an eternity, we finally made our way into Pennsylvania where we checked into the hotel around 7 p.m. After going over all the equipment and a briefing of the Bolton we began our journey towards the mansion. It seemed like once we left the hotel we entered a vortex determined to keep us from our destination. We were due to arrive at the mansion at 9:30 but got lost along the way which put our arrival at the Bolton around 10:20. After meeting with Jim Snow, the President of the Friends of Bolton Mansion and setting up the equipment in the safe zone in the main family room. We had a sit down with him to get some background on Bolton in which he explained all the stories behind it's hauntings. After speaking with Jim, he began to give us a tour through the mansion. Little did we know that they had rented out the apartment upstairs (which was a supposedly hot spot for paranormal activity) to A college student,who had a few friends over that night.They were rather rowdy from partying. While touring the mansion with Jim, the students presented themselves and were very interested in asking questions about paranormal investigating. It seemed like a doomed investigation from the start. Not cracking on the students, but they were a little loud as college students usually are after a night of partying. We weren't able to get many evp's but Jeni and Nancy caught a very good one in the large basement (there are 3 basements) It is a woman saying "I know what you are doing.........nobody cares" and Rick caught one in the basement , which is below the main part of the house, Rick asks if there is anyone in visitation and you hear a man's voice say "only one" and a little later Rick says Mercy and you hear a man say "for me?" We also caught some very good pictures with spiritual energy or "orbs" as they have been referred to by many groups. I have yet to go through the evp's that we did take but will get to them in the near future and will post them on here. As far as EMF readings, we used the K2 meter and a digital EMF detector and got a few spikes at certain times. We ventured outside to try and get some readings but to no avail. So we went back into the house and took more pictures. We finally decided to wrap things up and make our way back to the hotel to try and catch up on some sleep before starting out early the next morning to Gettysburg. It is undecided at this time if the Bolton Mansion is indeed haunted, but it is very obvious that there is some paranormal activity there. After reviewing the evp's taken at the mansion we did capture a few, the first one was captured in the basement as we heard a female voice tell us to "get out of the house" The next one was in the main front room where we had set up which told us to "get out" |

| In this evp Rick is alone in the back basement which is the oldest part of the mansion. There was a collage student renting the upper apartment in the mansion and this is all the foot steps that you here as there were coming down to talk with us about the paranormal activity they had experienced there. Scott who was with Rick went up to intercept them before they contaminated our evp session any further. The first thing you here is a male voice asking "did you go behind the swamp" there is currently no swamp around the Mansion, then Rick asks is there anyone here in visitation?, I know theres a lot of stuff going on in your house. Than a man answers "theres one". Then Rick says mercy because all the noise upstairs, and a man asks "for me?" You then here a female laugh and cough. Ricks asks do you like us here?. A male voice answers "yeah" |
